COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Multiple incidences where females have reported inappropriate behavior and contact from a similarly described male in Monument Valley Park the last few months may be connected, Colorado Springs Police said.

In a Facebook posting on Wednesday police explained, a female was grabbed from behind by a male while running in Monument Valley Park one morning in mid-May. She was able to get away.

Around the same time that day, another female walker called and reported that she was approached by a male masturbating in the same park.

Police connected these incidents to a report in March, where another female was in the park and was grabbed by a male, who ran away when he was confronted by her.

The suspect has been described by all three females as a white male, 5 feet 6 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build approximately 25 – 35 years old.

The Colorado Springs Police Department Domestic Violence and Adult Sexual Assault Unit was investigating these incidents.

Anyone with information or needing to report a similar incident was asked to contact the police department at (719) 444-7000  or Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers, Inc. at (719) 634-STOP.
