DENVER -- There was a special moment for Colorado Rockies relief pitcher John Axford and his family Friday night at Coors Field.

Axford's son Jameson was all smiles as he threw out the first pitch for the game against the Dodgers.

About two months ago, a rattlesnake bit the 2-year-old twice on his foot.

He's been in and out of the hospital for treatment ever since then.
