DENVER -- A display tower lift toppled over onto two people during an event at Civic Center Park on Saturday afternoon.

There was a major burst of wind that caused the structure to topple over, said Andrea Barela, the Development Director for the Cinco de Mayo event at the park.

Police responded to the scene and took one person to the hospital.

The two people had minor injuries but they were not life threatening.

The identities of the two people are not being released.
