DENVER — Police in Colorado, Oregon and Oklahoma are searching for a woman they call the “military mistress” on charges that she and her husband have written some $13,000 worth of bad checks.

Oregon sheriff’s deputies this week said that 39-year-old Bobbi Ann Finley (also known as Bobbi House) and her current husband, 27-year-old Zackerie House, are on the run after knowingly writing the checks in three states during the month of March.

Finley, of Dallas, Ore., was last in the news in 2010, when it was discovered that she traveled between U.S. military bases, marrying armed services members to gain access to their bank accounts. In total, she married 14 servicemen.

She went to prison for taking the mens’ money, eventually pleading guilty to theft by deception, according to FOX News.

Police believe that Finley and House may be camping in remote areas.
