FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A pet dog is recovering after a construction worker accidentally shot him with a nail gun.

The dog was in the homeowner's back yard and construction work was taking place nearby. "Even though it was just a dog, it could have been much worse. And it could have been our kids back here," Roxy Blunck said.

Cathy Hernandez has information in her video report about what happened, and what the family plans to do about it.
