Loveland police officer involved shooting, under investigation

LOVELAND, Colo. — Loveland police have released the identities of the two officers involved in a shooting that left a suspect dead.

Investigators said Officer Ben Delima and Detective Henry Stucky approached a suspect in relation to a crime.

One shot was fired, and the suspect died at the scene.

Police have not said who fired the shot.  An officer also suffered minor injuries.

The officers have been put on administrative leave pending an investigation.

Police said, there will be no further information released at this time.
