Past 420 celebration on CU-Boulder Campus.

BOULDER, Colo. — For the first time in three years, the University of Colorado will keep its Boulder campus open to the public on April 20 or 420.

CU initially tried to end the marijuana celebration in 2012, but the school’s Chancellor says the lack of activity the past few years has led them to keep the campus open this year.

The un-official marijuana holiday falls on a Monday this year, so they’re not expecting a huge turnout.
