DENVER — The Denver Police Department said Wednesday it has arrested one of two men accused of attacking and robbing a 70-year-old woman in a Stapleton neighborhood Wal-Mart parking lot.

The woman had just cashed her tax refund check Tuesday when police say one of the suspects hit her in the face several times and took the cash from her hand. That man and a second man driving a black SUV fled from the scene, police said.
