One dead as car smashes into comic book store

DENVER — One person died early Sunday after a car apparently crashed into a comic book store.

The incident happened about 2 a.m. at Mile High Comics, near North Jason Street and East 46th Avenue. One person was pronounced dead, according to the Denver Police Department.

The victim was not identified.

No other injuries were reported. The warehouse-type building sustained a smashed garage door in the crash.
