Child burned in house fire in Denver

DENVER — Children playing with a flammable substance started a fire in a home in the 1300 block of King Street Friday night according to a Denver Fire Department spokesperson.

One of the children was burned in the fire and taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. Reports from the scene indicated the child had significant burns but they were not believed to be life-threatening.

Firefighters called arson investigators to the house.
