Denver police officer arrested on suspicion of assault, domestic violence

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A Denver police officer was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Commerce City on suspicion of third-degree assault and domestic violence.

Todd Parro, 54, was arrested by Commerce City police about 3:30 p.m. on the 11500 block of Chambers Drive after responding to a report of domestic violence in the area.

Parro was taken to the Adams County Detention Center. He is due in court on Wednesday morning.

“No additional information is available at this time,” a news release from Commerce City police read.
