DENVER — Taking lessons from Denver’s food truck craze, fashion trucks are growing in popularity.

These boutiques on wheels, including The Denver Fashion Truck, Judith and Joes, and Tincan Couture, began popping up around Colorado a few years ago by selling clothing, accessories, jewelry and artwork.

But recently they’ve picked up speed and many fellow fashion truckers are expecting about 10 new trucks by summer.

Operators such as Steet Boutique’s Lindsey Trees says it’s much cheaper than the cost of a storefront.

The trucks allow customers know where they’ll be on social media and some will show up for a party. There’s also a website where you can search for fashion trucks.
