Denver police search for robbery suspects allegedly armed with mace

DENVER — The Denver Police Department was asking for the public’s help in finding two robbery suspects Wednesday.  The man and woman were accused of stealing items from the Family Dollar store in southwest Denver.

When they were confronted by employee at the store, which is near the intersection of West Evans Avenue and South Federal Boulevard, the suspects reportedly threatened to attack the worker with mace.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic Male, age 22 to 29, standing 5-foot-4 with curly hair. The second suspects was described as a Hispanic Female, age 22 to 29 with brown hair.  She may be pregnant.
