BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. — Police said they found a 16-year-old boy who went missing Thursday night after walking away following an argument.

Grant Mavergeorge, 16, was last seen near One Ski Hill Place at the base of Peak 8 in Breckenridge about 6 p.m. Thursday. Police say he left to “cool off” after an argument.

On Friday morning, police said Mavergeorge was found safe and is safely back with his family.

Police were concerned because they say Mavergeorge has high-functioning Asperger syndrome and was likely avoiding crowds or contact.
