Crews knock down fire in caretaker’s home at Arvada plant supply warehouse

ARVADA, Colo. — A caretaker’s home at an organic plant supply shop caught fire Tuesday morning.

The Arvada Fire District said the fire started about 5:40 a.m. at Permagreen Organics (5520 Harlan St.) and was out in about 20 minutes.

The fire did not spread to the warehouse and two people were displaced.

There were no reported injuries and the cause is under investigation.
