DENVER -- Colorado is one of the states in the U.S. where the flu virus is spreading.

It has hospitalized nearly 100 people this year.

Doctors say getting the flu shot is another way to prevent the flu and that there is no shortage of the vaccine.

"It will reduce risk of hospitalization, serious illness or death," said Dr. Amy Duckro.
