Chris Parente chats with Frozen’s Idina Menzel.

The American singer-songwriter and Tony-award winning Broadway star has a new Christmas album out called Holiday Wishes. Produced by Walter Afanasieff, it was released by Warner Brothers Records on October 14, 2014 in the United States.  It is Menzel's fourth studio album to date as well as her first in 6 years, and features a duet with Michael Bublé.  The album includes the original song, "December Prayer," which mentions a soldier returning home from war.

The USO Wishbook  is an alternative giving catalog. The gifts you purchase from the USO Wishbook allow you to recognize a special occasion while directly benefiting troops and their families.  You can choose gifts that benefit deployed troops, military families, and wounded warriors — examples of gifts include phone calls home, comfort food packages, and building custom bikes for wounded veterans.  Once you have purchased your gift, the USO will ensure that your gift goes to help lift the spirits of America's troops and their families.  After you make your purchase, you can send an eCard to gift recipients with a personal message, and tell them how your gift will benefit troops and their families.
