Three robbed at gunpoint near DU campus

DENVER -- The Denver Police Department is investigating a string of armed robberies around the University of Denver campus on Monday night.

Police say they are looking for a black or Hispanic man with a gray hoodie, and a black man who was wearing a black mask.

Three people were victims of the armed robberies about 9:30 p.m., the university said.

Two were robbed near South University Boulevard and East Asbury Avenue near the Arlington Apartments, the university said. A third victim was robbed in Lot 103 off South High Street and Buchtel Boulevard.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
