ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — A New Jersey man who thought he ordered a $37.50 bottle of wine got a huge shock when he got the bill.

NJ.com reported that Joe Lentini was attending a business dinner at Bobby Flay Steak at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and was asked by the host to pick a bottle of wine for the table.

Lentini said he asked for the waitress to recommend one. She reportedly suggested a bottle of wine and told Lentini the cost was “thirty-seven fifty.”

When the dinner was over, the check was handed to the host with a total of $4,700.61. The bottle of wine was included at a cost of $3,750.

Management told Lentini the best they could do was reduce the price to $2,200.

Lentini and two other diners split the bill.
