Staying Fit Through the Holidays

Laura St. John from Pearl Street Fitness explains how you can stay in shape during the holidays.

Most Americans gain 8+ pounds over the holidays and you don't want to be one of them! How do you survive corporate parties, holiday events, and this season of festivities?


  1. Don't hibernate! Do Active Metabolic Training - Only 3x per week!!

Set goals for Nov 15-Dec 15. We are doing a 30 day "Battle the Holiday bulge" challenge kickoff during these dates with Thanksgiving smack in between because we want to show people it's about 85% healthy choices, 15% fun. That's life. There will never be a PERFECT time. Holidays, events, parties, and fun will always be there. So if you work to be more mindful of what you're doing and eating for 30 days, you can turn a new habit into a lifestyle, without feeling GUILTY about having fun! You will be a step ahead everyone who feels guilty and "waits" to start until January!
