Tires slashed on more than 60 cars in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The tires of more than 60 vehicles were slashed overnight in Colorado Springs, police said.

The Colorado Springs Police Department reported that the incident happened in the 2700 block of Maroon Bells Avenue, near the intersection of Vickers Drive and Academy Boulevard.

A witness reported seeing a single person moving through the neighborhood slashing tires, but was not able to get a good description of the person, KRDO reported.

An investigation was ongoing.
