DENVER — Photographer Alan Dyer has created a compilation of time-lapse videos of stunning landscapes in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

According to his Vimeo account, the 4-minute video above was filmed in the Alberta Rockies, in Banff, Jasper and Waterton Lakes National Parks.

The scenes were filmed from July to September this year.

Each clip not only includes a time-lapse scene, but using motion control devices, Dyer is able to pan and zoom as clouds and stars zoom by.

In one impressive scene, the motion control camera follows stars as they move across the sky making it look as if the stars are still and a mountain foreground is what’s moving.
