LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Police are on the lookout for the person who stole a truck from a soldier who just came home to Lakewood.

Sgt. Blake Biggs has served several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He just returned to Green Gables, a tiny neighborhood just off West Jewell Avenue and South Wadsworth Boulevard.

The honorably discharged vet found his pick up stolen from in front of his mother-in-law's home Sunday. "I came outside and my truck which is usually parked outside right there was gone," Sgt. Biggs says.

He says it's a tragedy since he and his wife use the truck for their own professional photography business. What's worse, he just got it out of the shop Friday after having $1,200 worth of work done.

Police say the white Ford Ranger pickup truck had Colorado license plate 494-OQN on it when it was stolen late Saturday night.
