BOULDER, Colo. — A bar fight left a man with “permanent disfigurement” and now Boulder Police are looking for two suspects.

The fight happened at Connor O’Niel’s on 13th Street around 11:50 p.m. Friday, said Boulder Police spokeswoman Kim Kobel.

Witnesses told police that two men were on the dance floor when the assailant bumped into the victim, causing the victim’s drink to spill onto the assailant. He then smashed a glass on the victim’s face, causing several deep cuts that will require plastic surgery, Kobel said.

Two other men joined the fight and all four were kicked out of the bar, Kobel said.

The first assailant and another man were last seen running from the bar. The first assailant had a bloody hand, police said.

Police said they are looking for a white, but possibly dark-skinned, man standing 6-feet to 6-foot-1-inch tall with short black hair. He was wearing a black, short-sleeved shirt and jeans and had a large, colorful tattoo on his left arm that may have included a leaf or tree design, Kobel said.

Investigators looking for a white man 5-feet-8-inches to 5-foot-9 who was wearing a baseball hat and a shirt with a red star on the front.

Kobel said one of the suspects may be named Derek.

Police are also hoping to talk to two women. One of them may be named Katie. She is blond and was celebrating her birthday. The second woman may be named Leah and was described as a natural brunette but may have dyed her hair blonde.
