Newborn baby expected to be OK after rollover accident

All three people in the car were properly restrained, police said. No serious injuries were reported.

DENVER — A two-day-old baby was expected to be OK after surviving a rollover accident Sunday.

The accident happened on eastbound U.S. 36 near the Sheridan Boulevard exit. Two cars were involved in some type of collision, police said.

One of the cars, containing the newborn and two adults, overturned in the crash and settled in a ditch along the roadway.

All three people in the car were properly restrained, police said. No serious injuries were reported.

The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
