Englewood police nab suspect driving stolen car who caused two wrecks

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Englewood police took into custody a suspect who allegedly drove a stolen car erratically and caused two wrecks Friday morning.

The man, described as white and in his 20s, has a warrant out for his arrest. The first wreck happened on South Broadway and West Tufts Avenue. The second wreck was on East Stanford Avenue.

FOX31 Denver's Dave Young reports nearby schools were on lockdown as police seek the suspect.

About 11:30 a.m., the suspect was taken into custody.
