AURORA, Colo. -- Police say a man who broke into several homes in the same condominium complex was behind bars Tuesday night.

The suspect attacked three women in their homes at the Shores condos according to investigators.

It happened late Monday night.

Police accuse Clarence Eugene Howard, 23, of breaking into one of the homes through a doggy door. "Our suspect then ripped the burglar alarm off the wall, confronted our victim in her bedroom, held her at knife point," says Aurora police spokesman Sgt. Chris Amsler.

Police caught the suspect a short time after the third attack. Police say he has an extensive criminal history.
