Trolley hits, injures woman near Confluence Park
DENVER — The Platte Valley Trolley hit and injured a woman Saturday evening under Speer Boulevard near its Confluence Park stop.
The woman went to the hospital to get a leg injury treated. She’ll be OK.
Denver Police say some people in a crowd waiting to board the trolley were standing too close to the track. The trolley service shut down after the accident at about 6:30 p.m.
It was shuttling people from downtown to the Broncos game.
