DENVER -- A group of Denver religious leaders plan a vigil in the Mile High City Wednesday night. They are going to ask for Ferguson to be "demilitarized."

They are referring to the heavy armor police there have used to confront violent crowds during the last few nights since Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer.

The calls for change are growing in Denver and across the country. President Barack Obama has weighed-in on government programs that allow local police departments to arm themselves with heavy military equipment.
