Bryan Brutsch  from Marg’s Taco Bistro shows us how to make Churros.

Marg's Taco Bistro homemade churros

1 cup flour

1 cup water

2 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Pinch of salt

1 table spoon vanilla extract

1 cup water

1 pastry bag with the tip cut off and a star tip inserted.

Add the water, salt, oil to a pot and bring to a boil. When it comes to a boil remove from heat and add vanilla extract and flour. Mix until it comes together into a ball. Place dough into pastry bag and squeeze out a 4 inch piece. Fry for 4 to 5 mins at 350 degrees.

Mix 1/2 cup sugar and enough cinnamon to your taste. Remove the churro from the fryer and let rest on a paper towel. Dip the churro and coat all sides with sugar mix.
