DENVER —Three people have been accused in connection with a shooting that wounded two people at a bar last week, the Denver District Attorney’s office reported.

Aaron Lopez, 26, faces six counts of attempted murder, five counts of attempted assault, actual first degree assault, six counts of menacing and other felonies.

Brianna Ortiz, 25, is charged with two counts of being an accessory to the crimes.

Police were also seeking Christopher Uvalle, 23, on a warrant for attempted murder and other charges.

The charges allege that an altercation at the Boogie Down Bar and Grill on Morrison Road prompted Lopez to point a firearm at numerous bar patrons on Aug. 7, the DA’s Office said.

As the suspects drove away, Lopez allegedly handed the weapon to Uvalle, who reportedly fired into the bar. One woman suffered a serious hand wound.

The bar also sustained structural damage.
