FLINT HILL, Kan. --Kansas farmer Derek Klingenberg plays the song "Royals" by New Zealand pop star Lorde on his trombone. And he draws a distinctive audience -- his herd of cattle.

On his Facebook page, the talented rancher says he frequently plays trombone for his cattle, to calm them and make it easier to round them up.

If you listen closely, you'll even hear the cattle mooing along and responding to the notes. Klingenberg also throws in treats to keep the livestock happy.

Klingenberg says he has been contacted by media organizations around the world wanting to use his video.

He says he's just happy to share the beauty of his home with the world.

And the cattle seem to like it, too.

I planned to play my Sousaphone on Denver’s 16th Street Mall.
There would be two donation baskets – one marked [Requests] and the other [Blessed Silence].
