WILKES-BARRE, Pa. -- Apparently, Noah Ritter is now famous.
Video of the five-year-old boy, who made the most of his screen time Friday when a Newswatch 16 reporter interviewed him at a county fair, made the rounds on the internet. The the clip went viral, making it onto national TV shows and websites.
On Tuesday, Newswatch 16 checked back in with the Ritter family.
“It was great but, apparently, I was so embarrassed. I was like this embarrassed,” Noah said. “Because apparently, oh, now, I’m just using the words that I used when I was filmed at the county fair.”
“Everything’s been overwhelming,” said Noah’s grandfather Jack Borowski. “We went to the fair and we got interviewed and everything unraveled from there.”
Since Noah confessed earlier he does not watch the news but does watch the Powerball numbers, with his grandpa, a reporter asked if the family has ever won.
“No,” said Noah’s grandfather.
“Apparently, the woman who is giving us lottery tickets is jinxing us,” Noah said.
