Austin Whitaker, the Beer Ranger for New Belgium Brewing Company, tells us about the Keystone Bluegrass and Beer Festival this weekend.



WHO: 31 Colorado breweries. About 100 types of beers. The best bluegrass bands. This is one of the longest-running beer festivals in Colorado and was one of the first. (18th year)

WHAT: Free music by some of the top bluegrass bands and beer tastings of the best Colorado brews all day Saturday and Sunday.

New this year: A battle of the brews. Vote for your favorite Colorado brew with the #keystonebestbrew hashtag on twitter, instagram and Keystone’s Facebook page

Other highlights: Bluegrass seminars. An all-star bluegrass jam on Saturday night at Warren Station. And a Friday night kickoff party with all of the breweries.
