TOLLESON, Ariz. -- A tough break for an unlucky dog in Arizona. Firefighters in Tolleson, a Phoenix suburb, were called in to help free a dog who got his head stuck in a decorative cinder block from inside the house's crawlspace.
Apparently the poor pooch spent the night there until a neighbor saw his predicament.
Firefighters carefully broke away the brick and returned the dog to his relieved owner.
"He is a wild dog, and I can't believe he ... he has tried to run away at my other house, and I can't believe he tried to do it again," the owner said. "But this is something else."
The dog, named Chip, was not injured.AlertMe
