State Senator Steve King faces charges

DENVER — Prosecutors charged Colorado State Senator Steve King for his role in several alleged crimes.

They say the state senator who represents Mesa County and part of Garfield County was involved in embezzlement of public property, forgery, theft and official misconduct.

He could face jail time if he’s convicted.
