Police: Children’s Hospital lockdown lifted after phone threat

AURORA, Colo. — Children’s Hospital was briefly placed on lockdown late Sunday afternoon due to a threat made by an anonymous person via a phone call.

The lockdown was considered precautionary as of 4:30 p.m., the Aurora Police Department reported. It was lifted about 5:37 p.m. after police found no threat.

No further information was immediately released.

Children’s Hospital of Colorado is located at 13123 E. 16th Ave.
