A dog seriously injured this winter by frostbite will walk again thanks to a facility in Colorado.

But Brutus can not get his new paws until all of the funds are raised.

You can help Brutus get his new paws by going to any Wells Fargo branch and telling the teller you want to donate to the Better Paws for Brutus donation account. Donations are also accepted through the Better Paws for Brutus page.

Daily updates can be located on Brutus' Facebook page,Better Paws for Brutus - Canon City, CO.

So, who is this exercise really benefiting? Is this in the best interest of the Dog, or is it a “because we can” exercise.

  • Rescuer

A human allowed this dog to suffer and to be unable to walk without debilitating pain. This is because we SHOULD! It is a very young dog with a lot of years ahead. In the future, he will not only live pain free, but be mobile. Hopefully, he will be trained to be able to visit VA Hospitals, Hospitals and schools and inspire human amputees and others with challenges.
