HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- Two adults and four children were killed in a domestic shooting in Spring, Texas, on Wednesday night, said Harris County Constable Ron Hickman.

A seventh person, a 15-year-old girl, was also shot. She was taken to a local hospital.

A suspect, an uncle to the children, was taken into custody late Wednesday, according to Hickman.

Before the suspect surrendered, he was involved in a short chase with sheriff's deputies, who surrounded him.

The suspect is separated from his wife, who lives out of state, Hickman said.

Spring is located about 20 miles north of Houston.

What happen to the days of driving the family in to a lake or off a bridge of starting the house on fire?

People of this great nation. As an owner of a weapon, and a responsible dad (5kids) WE THE PEOPLE need to encourage better gun control laws. Im sorry if the NRA has a problem with it, the deterent may be enough to preveneven one of these fatalities, then the effort is worth it. I can wait 90 days for a new weapon, and responsible gun owners can as well. Lets help the cause, we do not need to line the pockets of big business. AND NRA is big biz!
