LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A senior woman has been found after going missing from her Lakewood home Wednesday morning.

Lakewood Police Department issued an alert for Beverly Adams-Howard, 83, who left her home at 7000 W. Cedar Circle Wednesday morning at 11 a.m.

That alert was cancelled on Thursday morning, after Lakewood Police confirmed Adams-Howard had been found and was safe.

Police added that Adams-Howard has early Alzheimer’s.

They believe she may be traveling with her dog, a tan 15-pound pekingese-dachsund mix named Duke.
