MORRISON, Colo. — A day after a frightening shooting at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the place was ready for a dose of good will. And who better to deliver it than good-natured space alien Skrillex?

The electronic music poster boy (real name Sonny Moore) has always tried to put on a happier, less self-serious face than many of his dubstep peers. And when he took the stage sometime near 11 p.m. Friday, his crashed starship set seemed a symbol of what Moore is all about — we’re here, we’re weird, get used to it.

Earlier, rapper Pusha T put on a cocky, hard-edged set that was impressive but seemed at odds with the relatively humble Skrillex’s tone.
