DENVER — Here are your 10 Things to Know for Monday, June 2, 2014.

1. Three shot outside Denver club

Three people were shot outside of Cold Crush Club bar in the Five Points neighborhood early Monday morning, and police were seeking two suspects.

2. Flooding prompts voluntary evacuations in Greeley

The rising Poudre River has caused flooding concerns in Greeley, prompting voluntary evacuations to be put into place. As the river continues to swell from rapid snowmelt, mandatory evacuations could be ordered.

3. Woman rescued after car plunges into South Platte River

A woman was rescued and taken to a hospital after the vehicle she was riding in late Sunday night crashed and plunged into the South Platte River in Denver.

4. More poisoned meatballs found

Police are investigating another apparent case of deliberate dog poisoning, this time in Longmont. In April, poisoned meatballs were found in a park in Gunbarrel in Boulder County.

5. John Elway’s son Jack arrested

Jack Elway, the son of Broncos general manager John Elway, was arrested over the weekend on assault and disturbing the peace charges. He’s out on a $550 bond.

6. New rules will allow dogs on restaurant patios

The Denver Environmental Health Department has passed new rules allowing customers to get table service while also having their dogs by their side.

A 14-year-old boy allegedly stole his grandfather’s car and tore through a Utah park, narrowly hitting children. He was stopped by a man in a truck who purposely rammed the car — and it was all captured on video.
