This is a unique view of the Grand Mesa mudslide mudslide that happened during the past weekend.

It's an animation of satellite imagery collected on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The imagery is provided by DigitalGlobe of Longmont, Colorado and Google.

Rescuers called off the search for three men missing in the enormous slide, which is several miles long and up to 250 deep in places on the Grand Mesa near the town of Collbran. The area is too unsafe and unstable for searchers to continue.
