DEVNER — Denver’s car-sharing service car2go said Wednesday they are expanding to the Belmar Shopping District and the city of Edgewater.

The service, which deployed 300 two-seater Smart cars across central Denver, said Belmar and Edgewater were the two most requested destinations.

Users can rent the cars by the minute and leave them on designated street parking spots.

The Edgwater expansion will grow the cars Home Area to include 26th Avenue to Pierce Street, down to 20th Avenue, over to Depew Street down to 17th Avenue and back over to Sheridan Boulevard.

In Belmar there will be designated parking spaces in the Dick’s Sporting Goods lot and free floating access to the Bally Total Fitness lot.

There is no street or meter parking for car2go in the Belmar area.

Belmar is such a c_r_a_p_h_O-L-E with all the yuppies that moved there and changed it.
I liked it a lot more with a big field between wads and the police station, and Villa Italia and King Soopers where that repulsive French style mall is now. It was home for 15 years, now it’s something else. These POS Mercedes (yes, Mercedes like most euro cars are junk cars, http://www.mercedes-benz-usa.com/ for some real-world owner testimony. its a riot!) “not so smart” cars fit right in with all the out-of-state liberal vermin that keeps flowing into the Belmar area like s_it out a pipe from IL, WI, MI, OH, IN, PA, CA, NY, MA, NJ, CT, MD, VA and more. I bet 15% of the current population moved here from one of these states in the past 3 months.
