Aurora teenager hospitalized after shooting

AURORA, Colo. — Police were searching for a suspect Thursday after a teenager was shot in his Aurora home.

The teen was wounded about 11 a.m. in the 18000 block of East Ohio Avenue, the Aurora Police Department said.

The teen was hospitalized and expected to survive.

Police said the suspect was known to law enforcement. The incident was being investigated for possible gang ties.
