DENVER — It’s every parents fear.

You look away for just a moment and your child disappears.

It happens more often then you might think. Just last month a 10-year-old boy wandered away from his Arapahoe County home in the middle of the night — triggering a massive search.

A new device can help protect kids and put their parents at ease. A GPS band lets parents know exactly where their child is all the time.

It will also send an alert to your phone if the band is removed.

Meet the inventors and find out how this device can save lives tonight on FOX31 Denver News at 9.
