EVANS, Colo. -- After a yearlong FOX31 Denver investigation, the family of a woman whose death was originally labeled a suicide spent the weekend protesting their daughter's death investigation.

The family of Ashley Fallis gathered along at least 40 supporters to protest outside the Evans Police Department on Sunday in an effort to press investigators for more information on the 2012 case.

FOX-31 Denver reporter Justin Joseph broke the story in a report aired in April that later helped Evans Police re-open the investigation.

Ashley's parents have contined to thank the media and other supporters for their help in getting the police department to re-open the investigation.

If only there was more space to write about the controversy more. Or some way to have a special word in this article that you could click on and it would take you to another page that has the original report that Fox31 is praising itself for.
