The Orangeville, Ontario native says his parents always gave him grief about his hand writing, claiming he would definitely turn out to be a doctor. “I feel bad when I am signing a jersey, like I’m ruining it,” the lefty adds. In addition to the playoffs, Ward has the FIL World Championships to prepare for. Ward will be representing Team Canada later this summer when the tournament is held here in Denver later this summer.
