COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Colorado Springs police are investigating the body of a man found Saturday in North Cheyenne Cañon Park.

Police said a group of descending rock climbers found the body about6:30 p.m. Saturday near Mt. Cutler. The man had apparently fallen to his death.

“He had taken a serious tumble, and we’re investigating whether or not this was accidental or something else,” Sgt. Jim Jeffcoat told KRDO.  “At this point, we (don’t suspect) foul play.”

The victim carried no ID.

Jeffcoat said no one had been reported missing Saturday, and police were checking parked vehicles in the park to determine if one belonged to the victim.  The man had a tattoo that could help identify him, Jeffcoat said.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will perform an autopsy to determine the man’s cause and manner of death.

What kind of tattoo? My brother is missing in that area. He has several tattoos, a full “shirt”. Could this possibly be him or is it just one tattoo? Any information would help with my peace of mind.
