DENVER -- If you're looking to buy a home it's going to cost you more right now.

Denver's housing market is going strong for sellers. Home prices in the metro area are hitting all time highs.

But that isn't stopping many people from jumping into the market anyway.

Those would-be buyers face stiff competition.

While options are limited, real estate experts say it's still a good time for buyers. Boris Sanchez explains why in his video report.

    Yes prices are high and its dumb. Unless the property has been upgraded the price should be dropping each year due to depreciation not going up simply because the current owner wants more than they paid. Do people grow up and get dumb this is high school stuff. Go ahead and blow another housing bubble…….
